Illustrated poster "The voice"

The theme of this workshop was the voice. Before sketching the first ideas, I refectled a lot about this topic and every aspect of it because, as the subject is abstract, it’s hard to visually represent it. I depict the decomposition of a speech: our every word is dictated by what we think with our brain (or at least there's supposed to be), and so it is the one who guides the mouth like a puppet. To make the drawing even more surreal, I positioned the lectern with the microphone inside the mouth, on the tongue. I used a cartoon style because the scene is humorous and funny.
