Castrum Mentis

The restoration project of the Castello di Cassino Scanasio aims to enhance a historical site by integrating a Psychiatric Residential Structure (SRP3), a restaurant, and an exhibition area. The SRP3, called Castrum Mentis, provides therapy and support to psychiatric patients, addressing local healthcare needs. The restaurant, Sapori del Castello, combines healthy cuisine with local products, promoting physical and cultural well-being. The exhibition area tells the story of the castle, transforming it into a "museum" that bridges the past and conservation. The project focuses on sustainability, inclusivity, and accessibility for the community, with green spaces designed for well-being and landscape regeneration.
